Social contribution project

Korea Association of Health Promotion is executing free medical health check-up for medically alienated classes including those living in social welfare facilities, disabled persons and female immigrants through marriage in order to make contribution towards enhancement of health equality of our society, and practicing sharing of healthy love for the less fortunate neighbors such as voluntary service activities, relief activities, blood donation and fund raising through activities of Health Promotion Association’s Love Voluntary Service Group and Mother’s Voluntary Service Group.

Free medical health check-up (approximately 130,000 persons per annum)

  • Medical health check-up for less fortunate neighbors such as those living on basic pension, living in social welfare facilities and disabled persons
  • Medical health check-up for female immigrants through marriage, those receiving remuneration for meritorious service to country and visitors of families separated into the South and North Korea
  • Medical health check-up in the Month of Public Health and Month of Filial Piety for Elderly

Activities of Health Promotion Association’s Love Voluntary Service Group

  • Composed of staffs of the headquarters and 16 city and provincial branches of the Association
  • Voluntary service activities at social welfare facilities and disabled persons facilities
  • Blood donation campaign and relief activities in disaster struck regions
  • Support through funds and goods
  • Sisterhood relationship between 1 company and 1 outlying regions

Activities of Health Promotion Association’s Mother’s Love Voluntary Service Group

  • Voluntary service group composed of women less than 60 years old (approximately 500 members throughout the country)
  • Voluntary service activities at social welfare facilities and disabled persons facilities
  • Provision of assistance to farming villages and nature cleaning activities
  • Support through funds and goods
